I didn't plan to image the solar eclipse as it would be hidden on my normal location. But I tried it anyway from a nearby balcony where the sun happens to be obstructed by a chimney and the edge of a roof.
Anyway, at least I managed to capture the maximum obstruction and could collect these frames for this sequence:
