Lower's Nebula 2026

ASI2600MM, 580mm f/5.8, 26.4h (RGB 3x1.2h, Lum 1.9h, Ha 6.1h, S2 6.3h, O3 8.3h)

Like last year, I again imaged Lower's Nebula SH2-261. But this time using the slower refractor and a different composition.

The main difference is using the Sulfur data to place some yellowish highlights around the core, as a consequence this edit is quite warmer compared to the previous image.

In a direct comparison I had to collect much more subs with the slower telescope, and still could not reach the quality of the previous stacks  with about twice the integration time.
