SH2-155, a cave in the firmament 2026

The Cave Nebula is an extended molecular cloud in constellation Kepheus.

This is an active starforming region with the typical clusters of young stars and very dense molecular clouds hiding the light from stars behind.

So taking a closer look is even more interesting:

Only Hydrogen Alpha was image in narrowband, maybe I'll add Oxygen in a later revision.

I already imaged this target back in 2024, but due to bad weather I had to cancel it in this state:
