M62 is not an easy target if you try to capture it from the northern hemisphere due to its low position above the horizon. But sometimes one need to take what's possible, and so the image above was taken under quite bad conditions after a hot, sunny day and high humidity in lower sky regions. The image below documents the situation quite well. The reddish star is Antares in Scorpius, the M62 target is even lower and it was impossible to recognize any star visually in that region.
